Who We Are

Half Light Projects is Artist Holly Thomas and Producer Katy Noakes.

Having collaborated on projects since 2018, we have come together to formalise our partnership as Co-Directors of Half Light Projects CIC.

Holding our work around blind & visually impaired (B&VI) creative inclusion, we are a multi-disciplinary company that works creatively with technology and whose work is

shaped by the needs of the stories we share and the audiences we reach, and by our

understanding of how bodies respond to spaces and environments.

Our first live production, Half Light, is scheduled to tour in Autumn 25. Inviting the audience to immerse themselves in a world where sight is not assumed, Half Light

asks you to awaken your senses and tune into a reality where movement is revelaled by

sound.

Alongside this touring production, we are working with partner venues and organisations

to develop an online access resource for programmers, and to grow a fledgling natinal

peer network for venues to share learning about working with B&VI artists and communities.

We are currently part of the Creative Organisation Change Lab cohort, and residents with Pervasive Media Studio at Watershed in Bristol,

We have received funding and development support from: Arts Council England, The Place, Abderrahim Crickmay Trust, Arnolfini, Trinity Arts, Pavilion Dance South West, West of England Combined Authority, and MyWorld Creates.
